Jannatul Baqi (also spelled Al-Baqi) is the oldest and most significant Islamic cemetery in Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is the final resting place of many of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) family members, companions (Sahabah), and prominent Islamic figures.

• From Masjid an-Nabawi: The cemetery is just a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from the eastern side of the Prophet’s Mosque.

• By Foot: Easily accessible from most hotels near the Haram area.

• By Taxi/Car: Visitors can take a taxi to the mosque and walk to the cemetery.
